Boiler Upgrade
Homeowners with an older none condensing boiler are less efficient than modern condensing boilers. Under the ECO4 scheme , homeowners could be eligible for a free A rated condensing boiler upgrade. This more than often includes additional insulation and adequate ventilation all 100% free
First Time Central Heating
Owner occupied and privately rented, If a property has never had central heating, the occupier may be eligible for a first-time central heating grant under the ECO scheme
Loft Insulation
Owner-occupied – At Go To Eco, loft insulation is unrolled in the property’s loft space. The initial layer is placed between the joists (the horizontal beams on the loft floor), followed by a second layer laid at right angles to the first.
Solar and HRSH (high retention storage heaters)
If your property is off gas and has old inefficient storage or panel heaters, you could qualify for free solar and new High retention storage heaters.
Underfloor Insulation (UFI)
Owner-occupied – If you feel cold drafts through the floorboards, Go To Eco’s underfloor insulation ensures your home stays warm in winter by minimizing heat loss and remains cool during the warmer months
Flat Roof Insulation
Owner-occupied – For properties that feature living spaces with flat roofs, effective insulation is essential for maintaining warmth and can even assist with condensation issues.
Cavity Wall Insulation
Owner-occupied – To insulate a cavity wall, a Go To Eco ECO-approved installer will drill small holes into the property’s exterior. Insulation material, typically mineral wool, polystyrene bead, or polyurethane foam, is then injected into the cavity through these holes, which are subsequently sealed.
Solid Wall Insulation
Owner-occupied – A cavity wall consists of an outer brick wall and an inner wall made of brick or concrete Approximately 40% of UK properties are constructed with solid walls, lacking a cavity, leading to as much as 45% of a property’s generated heat escaping through the walls.
Other Heating
Owner occupied – When installing a central heating system, it’s crucial that a property is equipped with a full set of heating controls. Under ECO4, a variety of heating controls are available, designed to enhance the efficiency of how properties are heated, saving money and reducing the carbon footprint.
